The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Wednesday, October 16 reveals Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will plead with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Also coming up, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will balk at Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) assignment. Plus, Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will tell Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) to leave his apartment. And Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will warn Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Y&R spoilers tease Audra will spot Jack at the GCAC. She’ll tell him she has information that could be of great use to him. So, Jack will ask exactly what she’s after. “You conduct your business with honor and integrity and it’s clearly obvious your son is lacking in both.”
Audra will add she wasn’t the bad influence on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Victor is. “He’s the silent investor in Glissade.” She’ll see his reaction and Jack will say he suspected it. Audra will tell him she knows all the inner workings of Glissade. “I want it back Jack. Maybe we can make a deal.”

But Jack will say he won’t bargain for his son. “I would simply be helping you get Kyle back on the right path,” she’ll reply. “All I want is to get back what is rightfully mine.” She’ll add she signed an NDA and has risked Victor’s wrath to help him. “You will never beat Victor,” Jack will tell her. “And you will never run Glissade again.”
Speaking of The Mustache, he’ll tell Adam he has an assignment he only trusts him to carry out. He wants an article to run about the firings at Abbott-Chancellor. “Do not go after Lily or Chance,” he’ll say. “Billy is the focus of the campaign.” Adam will tell his father it’ll be a piece of cake.
Then Victor will say he also needs to smooth over Audra’s departure from Glissade. Adam will say there’s as much chaos in the Glissade c-suite as there is at Abbott-Chancellor. And he’ll remind him of his condition when he went back to Newman Media. He’s not going to go after Jack.
They’ll argue and Adam will run into Michael by the elevators after he leaves. He’ll ask him to spill Victor’s plan with Glissade, Jabot and Jack. But Michael will say he’s not the confidant to Victor that Adam thinks he is.
Meanwhile, Phyllis will return to the CEO office and ask Billy how bad his conversation with Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) was. “I have not told my mom everything, and Lily took that as an opportunity to spin it around and make me look like the backstabbing villain,” he’ll reply.
He’ll add that Jill has taken Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) side. “She gave me an ultimatum to undo all the mistakes I have made,” Billy will say. “In her eyes, aside from Lily, you are my second biggest mistake.” So, Phyllis will ask Billy if he’s going to fire her.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Daniel Asks Chance If He’s A Suspect
Billy will say if he doesn’t, Jill will take back control and he’ll lose everything. But Phyllis will say it’ll look bad, the third c-suite executive to exit in weeks. She’ll suggest a plan that guarantees he hangs onto everything, he should pretend to fire her. But he’ll balk.
“I’m sorry Phyllis, I don’t know what else to say.” Then Phyllis will beg him. “Please, please don’t fire me. Plus, you need to hire Daniel.” Billy will say maybe not working there she’ll be able to focus on her son and herself. But when Billy won’t budge, Phyllis will say she’s going to plead her case to Jill herself.
Finally, Chance will ask Daniel where the bloody towel came from and he’ll have no idea. So, the cop will tell him they’re going to have it analyzed and find out whose blood it is. Chance will ask for Heather Stevens’ (Vail Bloom) phone passcode but the code Daniel has won’t work.
He’ll say maybe the phone wasn’t there the whole time. “Aside from you and my mother, Lucy and I have been the only ones in the apartment since this whole thing started,” Daniel will reply. Then Daniel will go on his tablet and reset Heather’s password and it’ll work.
Chance will find an unsent text to Paul Williams (Doug Davidson). “What does it say?” Daniel will ask. So, Chance will read it out loud. Heather was going to text her dad that she and Lucy might be heading to Lisbon. “Daniel and I have been fighting nonstop and it’s starting to scare me,” Chance will read. “Daniel’s anger issues are resurfacing.”
Of course, Daniel will freak out and say Heather was never afraid of him. “Was Lucy right the other day? Am I a suspect now?” But Chance will tell him he needs to make other living arrangements. The apartment is now a crime scene and he and Lucy can’t be there. “Forensics is going to be here, you need to leave,” he’ll add. “Now.”
